About

I hold a PhD in Theoretical and Empirical Linguistics from the Center for Language and Cognition Groningen (CLCG) at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. My PhD project examines phonetic and lexical variation in Finland-Swedish, contributing to research on minority languages and bilingualism in language contact situations. I have also published on linguistic landscapes of international branding and marketing, and I am interested in research on linguistic identity, language policy, and the sociolinguistics of globalisation.
